Mitchell "Shoney" Wolfe: mailers sent to all voters
While he has not published a platform, we do want to note that Mr. Burton has distributed an election flyer to some voters, that among other errors:
-
Claims he is a volunteer with the Historic Planning Commission.
-
Fact: there is no Historic Planning Commission. There is the Clinton Regional Planning Commission (which he has purged of those who disagree with him, see "City Interference", and put himself on) and the Clinton Historic Zoning Commission (which he has similarly purged of those who disagree with him, see "City Interference", in order to secure a favorable vote for the Daugherty Building developers). It would be ironic if he was highlighting his brief service on the latter, as he sought to abolish the entire Commission when it was clear its members were not voting the way he wanted them to (again, see "City Interference").
